The warranty is transferable as long as the new owner has a record of the original purchase. In the rare event you need to file a claim, simply provide us with the original order information (such as order number, purchaser's name, email address, or billing/shipping address), so we can verify the warranty and process it quickly.

This two-year warranty coverage includes the cost of return shipping for the damaged drive and a free new replacement for failures that are covered under warranty for 2 years from date of purchase.
